An alternative to the shitty match day thread. Feel free to post here and say I told you so.
Actually, if you had just kept this until Sunday, then it would look like a good post!Couldn't agree more, glad it came down to the last day, but the season is officially over, that gap and all the points we dropped were too much to overcome, we go again in August!
We're at risk of becoming "Sunderland fans" and I don't use that term lightly. Only thing we're missing at this point is a liberal seasoning of "we should be beating teams like this" and before you know it we'll be playing in red and whitewe would be a laughing stock to the football world apart from the AVFTT mob, who think they know everything about football, if we happen to marginally miss out on the back of the car crash of last season. our weak points were identified in Jan Buyers and Coulson brought in and generally been on good form since.
If not already, lots had written us off long before now, still clinging to the hope they will be proved right in their own heads at least. Looking forward to Saturday, what football is all about, let’s enjoy it whilst it lasts.Err...if we get into the play-offs some on here are gonna look foolish.
Agree, it was never like this. We're at risk of becoming "Sunderland fans" and I don't use that term lightly. Only thing we're missing at this point is a liberal seasoning of "we should be beating teams like this" and before you know it we'll be playing in red and white

He’s on a wind up mission Mac truth be known he thinks the sun shines out of Critchley’s arse.Getting really desperate for "likes" now lad.
I always want us to go up and be the best version of Blackpool FC that we can be. Whatever the outcome is - and I pray we make the play offs was I entertained? Not a bit. I was bored by a whole lot of it.
Let's just hope the lads can do the business on Saturday. I've a feeling we will make it.
Pathetic, grow up .An alternative to the shitty match day thread. Feel free to post here and say I told you so.
Oh that is certainly true. There are lots of if, buts and maybes. If anything, being still in it on the last day highlights these issues. Even so, there have been a number of cold comfort statements on here that have been way too premature in the making.I have serious reservations about saying we gave it our best shot.
If only we'd gone into more games like we did against Barnsley, but unfortunately there has Been far too many false dawns this season
Without getting embroiled in the thread, Barnsley was a must win game, or a nothing to lose game. There was no choice but to go out and try to get the result. Reading WILL be the same- it has to be."It ain't over until it's over" - Rocky & us Seasiders.
SS has made it crystal clear that NC is going nowhere.
Regardless of the division we're in, next season will be a rebuild and new challenge.
I just hope NC has listened to the criticisms with regards to his style of play, responds positively to it, and next season we play every game like the first 60 minutes V Barnsley.
You two may not be far wrong.MY son rang me the other morning. He had been in the sponsors lounge. Said you know what . it wouldnt harm to stay in this League another season. I will agree with that . What would be the point of going up if we simply wont be good enough. It may just happen . But Wrexham away is a definite for next season . it could be a good league with plenty of relative short trips away. more than likely a few days out in YARKSHIRE . utmp.
thankz . We have been Lads and Dads since about 1995. He will be 39 this August when his birthday fall. We have Wrexham away as a definite . He gets a new car in July so its a long time since we had a welsh team in this league. You two may not be far wrong.
Even with our current loan players, this squad wouldn't survive in what is now a very tough, very fast playing championship.
We need major investment to have a team able to compete at that level, together with a change in attitude from NC.
It is what it is - let's see where we are 1.20pm ish on Saturday afternoon.
From birth, our two daughters, followed by our 6 year old grandson, became Seasiders for life.thankz . We have been Lads and Dads since about 1995. He will be 39 this August when his birthday fall. its a Audi electric job. cant wait. From birth, our two daughters, followed by our 6 year old grandson, became Seasiders for life.
I thought - well my brother made me live a life of ups and downs being a Seasider, so I'll share the burden with you Like you, we've experienced great occasions together & will until I'm 6 foot under.
Even though we live in Warrington near one daughter (40) & the other lives Stockport, they all have tangerine blood, especially our little fella.
Stocky & Wrexham will be like home grounds for us in L1, we just hope neither are mid-week games.
Enjoy Saturday and let's see where the result takes us & you in the lads new car!
