Funny you say that, because what I heard was that.......Yes it's not a good idea to buy into these rumours. Even if there's some truth they go down the Chinese whisper route.

If true I think you will find JG wants a move in which case Critch relying on the folk that want to stay.Who could blame him for moving on …first Critchley preferred Turton to him and now cj Hamilton…ludicrous he can barely get a game and I guess he will command a decent fee…I’d sell him and apter and try and get all four loan players in on permanents…and before anyone says we can’t get Dembele let’s at least give it a go and test his club with a decent bid…I’m sure he’s enjoyed it here and who knows
I’ve heard apparently Critch and Connolly had some sort of falling out. Same as you though, got to take with a pinch of salt.If this is true I'd be thinking it the other player would be Connolly but I take it all with a pinch of salt
It’s not about pandering, but leaving your best players on the bench, whilst favouring weaker squad members. Jerry was a good example of that, Kenny and now Gabriel. Wanting to play is not making personal demands.Critch seems incredibly fair minded to me, whatever faults he may have. Managing a squad can sometimes mean not pandering to lads who think they can make personal demands.
What is it then? It’s not about pandering, but leaving your best players on the bench, whilst favouring weaker squad members. Jerry was a good example of that, Kenny and now Gabriel. Wanting to play is not making personal demands.
It’s knowing you can do a better job than players picked & not performing. Would we rather have players happy to take a wage and sit on the bench, no.What is it then?
That's what Dad and Son do occasionallyI’ve heard apparently Critch and Connolly had some sort of falling out. Same as you though, got to take with a pinch of salt.
Because they're attention seekersWhy do they do it ?
They are not on anything when their contracts expire!Coulson is on 7k a week and Byers is on 11k a week so i doubt we would sign Byers
So one in the League, as I said.Forest Green in the FA Cup. Bolton at Home in the League. A goal away at Premier League Notts Forest in the FA Cup which helped us get a replay and more funds for the club.
Maybe Jack Moore will get a chance if Gabriel leaves? If you look at some more of the replies she seems to imply Gabriel isn't too happy with the amount of football he's getting and there is interest from other teams. Can't really blame him
But you didn't say that did you. No where in your comment was the word League mentioned, nor in the comment you were replying to. So no, not as you said.So one in the League, as I said.
He's scored one goal while he's been with us and it wasn't that important
Yes that fine, but it depends how you behave, and we don't know. We are just sat behind keyboards, we don't see the whole picture, or even much of it.It’s knowing you can do a better job than players picked & not performing. Would we rather have players happy to take a wage and sit on the bench, no.
Believe it or not people do speak to other people in the real worldYou can tell its coming up to silly season.
"My Aunt's next door neighbours dog knows one of the players and they say 'insert name here' isn't happy and they're off"
You have to believe him as he's ITK but can't reveal his source
Owen Dale, and was it Critchey that got rid of Ryan Hardie ?Playing devils advocate (again…) which players that Critchley has released in his time with us, have gone on to prove him wrong? Not the ones we didn’t sign, but ones he signed and then released later.
He is at least championship standard. Allowing him to leave would be a major mistake .I dont blame him for wanting out. If I had CJ Hamilton being played out of position ahead of me every week, I'd want gone as well. Shame as Gabriel has always had a good attitude and I still believe that a run of games would have shown how good he actually is. We probably won't even get our money back for him. Wouldn't surprise me if he's at one of the established Championship teams in a few years time.
And then become all cryptic when posting on here.Believe it or not people do speak to other people in the real world
My mate once made up a rumour about BFC and within a day it was on AVFTT!I’ve heard apparently Critch and Connolly had some sort of falling out. Same as you though, got to take with a pinch of salt.
They were also three of our most committed and popular players. It’s not about pandering, but leaving your best players on the bench, whilst favouring weaker squad members. Jerry was a good example of that, Kenny and now Gabriel. Wanting to play is not making personal demands.
Sadler is putting 5m in each season. Where is the money you want to spend coming from?So potentially our team next year is
Grimshaw (if he stays)
Moore
Pennington
Husband (if he stays)
CJ
Norburn
Carey
Morgan
Apter
Beesley
Kouassi
Virtue
Lyons (when fit)
Casey (if he stays)
They maybe able to tempt one or two to stay but it’s likely that Lavery marv and Connelly will all leave. It will be interesting seeing if that squad can stay up never mind make the play offs. We really need to aim higher and look at signing some quality which involves spending money. Then again many on here are happy with the little old Blackpool mindset.
TransferMarkt values seem random and meaningless to me.Gabriel's worth on TransferMarkt is $1m, his contract is until 2025 with the club option for another year.
Whoever wants him better be ready to pay.
Spending money does not guarantee success . Look at Reading Derby etc spent fortunes same division as us.So potentially our team next year is

Exactly. Too much sentiment towards a player who is obviously a really nice bloke. I agree with your assessment as a player, he's OK but has quite a few shortcomings and is injury prone. He isn’t one of our best players. He’s mastered the Delfouneso last player to leave the pitch clapping gig and as a result people believe he’s better than he is. He’s a ‘attacking full back’ who doesn’t provide anything really going forward, and is far from assured defensively even at league 1 level.
He’s by no stretch a bad player, but I don’t believe it’ll be a big miss and is pretty easily replaceable. For the record, I don’t think CJ is the answer. But if we’re prepared to let him go there must be a suitor prepared to pay decent money, he’s probably one of our higher earners, so I personally wouldn’t be standing in his way.
As much as I am not a fan of Critch, he can't have fallen out with everyone.
How is he injury prone. He’s had 2 serious injuries in succession. That’s just unlucky. I call players that have repeated muscle issues as injury prone.Exactly. Because his knees seem to be made of glass? How is he injury prone. He’s had 2 serious injuries in succession. That’s just unlucky. I call players that have repeated muscle issues as injury prone.
He’s been fully fit to play and there isn’t a better RB in L1 and probably not many better in the Championship. Pace, huge energy, strong, incredible in the air.
I’m not sure I believe those figures but that is a different topic..you don’t take on a football club and expect to spend no money…plus we will have income from players sold and there must be some left over from Yates Bowler and Critchley compensation. We have chronically underinvested in the last two seasons and started each season weaker than the previous one…at this rate we will continue to go backwards and at some point investment in the team has to be a priority over a pie in the sky training ground. Still as you very rarely go to any games then you will have no issue with the standard of football declining year on year and we can fulfill the little old Blackpool billing.Sadler is putting 5m in each season. Where is the money you want to spend coming from?
The accounts show all the incoming and outgoing money including transfer fees, and after all that Sadler is putting 5m in. So you don't even understand the basics.I’m not sure I believe those figures but that is a different topic..you don’t take on a football club and expect to spend no money…plus we will have income from players sold and there must be some left over from Yates Bowler and Critchley compensation. I’m not going to argue with your vastly superior knowledge..I’m sure that’s what you tell yourself you have anywayThe accounts show all the incoming and outgoing money including transfer fees, and after all that Sadler is putting 5m in. So you don't even understand the basics.

Knee issues can happen to anyone, with or without contact and sometimes doing the most routine things. They don’t require an inherent muscular weakness, for example hamstring tightness. Happened to me and my knees are not made of glass.Because his knees seem to be made of glass?
Some people are more prone to knee injury than others. Two serious knee injuries and surgeries at the age of 25 isn't great and will surely leave his knees weaker for it. Maybe this is why he's not getting as much game time as he'd like?Knee issues can happen to anyone, with or without contact and sometimes doing the most routine things. Actually knees are stronger after ACL, that’s what my surgeon told me. I think JG fell off a stool first time, then got his foot caught in the turf second time around. He doesn’t seem to be struggling or to have lost pace. He’s still jumping Ronaldo like for headers, which is a sure sign his knees are ok.Some people are more prone to knee injury than others. Connolly probably wanted to be dropped and Critch refused.I’ve heard apparently Critch and Connolly had some sort of falling out. Same as you though, got to take with a pinch of salt.
Why would he want to stay though if he's just going to sit on the bench? I know he's in contract until effectively 2026, but Sadler and Critchley have both made it clear in their time here that if a player doesn't want to be here then they will let them go. Critchley has also made it clear in interviews that he's building a squad to fit 3-5-2 and obviously he doesn't rate Gabriel in that formation as he has CJ playing out of position ahead of him. I do agree that letting him leave would be a major mistake, but it's one that's most likely going to happen. He is at least championship standard. Allowing him to leave would be a major mistake .
No way do we get £1m for him. Be lucky to get £500k in the current transfer market. Everyone's skint, especially at this level, and what Championship club is going to want to spend £1m on a RB that cant even get into our team. This is why I said before, we will be lucky to get our money back for him.Gabriel's worth on TransferMarkt is $1m, his contract is until 2025 with the club option for another year.
