.. and I’m a realist and know it’s unlikely but IF it did happen would you want Bolton or Posh in the Semis? To me, the likely side to be promoted (unless Lincoln can turn it on?)

I would fear Posh in the final and so sooner get them out of the way over two legs.
Agree. That’s what I thought about the Bristol motors cup. I’d have rather gone out in the semis than in the final. Posh looked better than us in all our games with them despite that 1 win.

Pish looked decent in spells, and were exceptional in the tin pot cup semi, but we were truly awful that night. In the game at BR after we went a man down we mullered them for thirty minutes and were unlucky not to have taken something from that game. At their place it was pretty evenly matched from what I remember.

I don't think any team in the top six is any better than us, if we let players play their game and not play the critchley keeping the shape ready to defend bollocks. Getting Rhodes back might be a boon but I think the players can rise to the occasion.

I think both Bolton and Peterborough will have the 'missing out' Play Off curse - strangely if both us and Lincoln got in, I'd probably fear them the most after their recent run. I would say if either ur or them get in I'd fancy them to get promoted.

If we make it, no matter who we face it will certainly be a challenge.

BUT, as we would be the form team going into the play-offs we would have nothing to fear. Its the teams above us who would be more nervous.

Posh have got our number this year, to an extent. So I'd sooner play them in one game rather than two, I couldn't see them not hitting a good gear over both.

We have more than matched Barnsley, Bolton, Oxford and Lincoln all season but the one side who we have really struggled with have been Peterborough. They have the Wembley experience and, for me, still have the best squad in the league.
In a way, I'd prefer them in a one off final where anything can happen.

Its not going to happen as Critchley will set us up on the final day to keep it tight and not concede, he will then flap with 10 minutes go go and bring on Norburn thinking it will change the game ;)
