Isn't it the job of the coaching team to get the strikers playing as though they haven't just met on the day of the match?

There is not a settled partnership.Well I think we can put that down to Tinkerman. He cannot resist changing the line up. If a player has a good game he is in grave danger of losing his place. Virtue was probably the best of a bad bunch against Wycombe, but paid for this by being benched against Cambridge!
To be fair to Critchley he doesn’t have great options.

What was that from @65 & Counting - it's absolutely spot on.
You cannot wait until the 42nd league game of the season to be trying out your best up front partnership.
You could see those two were clueless as to how to play with the other.
