Well we were winning and dull at home this season. The problem was we were even duller away from home and losing. Our dull home form should have seen us cruise into the playoffs. No shots on target away from home against Burton will be forever etched in my mind.

The league wasn't the best. We had a great home record Away record was abysmal and tried nothing different to change it. In summary our home record should have been more than enough for playoffs at least, with a half decent away record. The squad was good enough in a bang average league.

Radio silence as usual would be my prediction.

Honest question, if Sadler is a " Blackpool fan " is he as unhappy as the rest of us, that we stuck to the same failing away formula, until the last second of the last game of the season ?

The very least that needs to happen is getting someone on the coaching staff prepared to say " Gaffer we are shit away from home, with our home form we should have sailed into the playoffs last season. How about we try this........ "

Well I'll be a season ticket holder next season and I totally agree with Phil's observations, I'm sure there's many like me. I also think there will be a drop in season ticket sales from those who aren't as died in the wool as some of us.

Burton, Port Vale, Cambridge, Orient, Cheltenham, Wycombe, Wigan and throw in Fleetwood and Charlton are all away games that don't add up to fine margins. With our home record there is not a cat in hells chance we shouldn't have made the playoffs at least.

Strong likelihood ? It's a certainty because they are all loan players !!

And yet Charlton got Alfie May, a proven goalscorer at lower league level.

We'll know better if the home fan base of season ticket holders drops below 8,000 next season.

With our away form and the manager/ coach learning nothing from defeat after defeat away from home, i'm amazed anyone got that excited about yesterday. Said all week we needed to win and that would be the problem.
