I’ll be listening in from Austria. Gutted I can’t be there. While walking around Zeller See yesterday, a butterfly fluttered in front of me. It was wearing our traditional away kit - white and tangerine, so I felt this was a sign for a good away win. UTMP 🍊🍊🍊
I have transcribed the only two reports I can find of Final Tie of the first Fylde Cup in 1887 - Blackpool v Lytham.

i have transcribed a copy of the report of the presentation of this and other medals which took place at the Wellington Hotel (Blackpool Gazette and Herald - 27 January 1888). It is quite long and describes the whole evening in much detail as reports in newspapers did in those days.
What a wonderful gesture this is. The students should be so grateful to Mr Sadler in future years. Let’s wish them an amazing start in life and successful careers.
