I think you''d have a valid point except that the way Critchley sets his team up you'd think it would be the better defender that should be playing. And you acknowledge that Gabriel is the better defender. And let's face it, Critchleys teams don't go out with the intent to attack and build up...

I don't think his form has dipped. His current form is his normal level. It's the four or five games a season where he raises his level that you seem to think is normal.
