Tony Ellis
Michael Jackson
Ricardo Fuller
Brett
Chris Maxwell

Any others?
Who played for both and you hated?

Sorry, Brett, although playing for the Nobbers was Blackpool first and foremost. Same with Eyresy.

The obvious answer is Tony Ellis followed, for me, by Andy McAteer

Agree that I don't think of Brett as a former PNE player - indeed I've blotted out of my mind that unfortunate little time!

I liked all of them except for Fuller - not that I disliked him but more of a case of a good player in his time but perhaps a little bit past his best by the time he was with us.
Was a bit too young to fully understand the significance of signing Ellis, although remember him as a really good player.
The one I was really pleased with was Jacko - always rated him wherever he played and he held our defence together for a good couple of seasons. Indeed when we played them in 2007 he even got a warm round of applause from their fans!

Our manager got a couple of ringers to play for us in the Garstang area league when I was a teenager.
Andy McAteer was one of them and seemed a-ok kind of lad, but I didn't like him as a Pool player though.

Tony Ellis just for pissing the knobbers off so much(bloody good player too).

Who was the centre forward we got and was awful for us, but it turned out later he had a long term illness.
Not 100% but I think he later died from it.😒

Mel Holden. Poor lad got shedloads of stick for appearing fundamentally uncoordinated. As you said, he had a debilitating and degenerative disease. Good player, in his prime, apparently. :(

Mike Conroy falls in the awful category.

As for the good ones, agree on Jacko and Maxwell. Good players.
