Few twists in tonights finale me thinks, but it has been brilliant and the main story line reflects unfortunately what does happen in society!Coma is excellent
It's a brilliant film and a hugely important topic but an incredibly tough watch. I've rarely heard a cinema so silent. We went to see it the night before the Wigan game so that made for a jolly weekendWent to see Zone of Interest at the cinema.

There are a few references to the first series in series 3 & a lot more in series 4hooked on True Detective. Four different series with different stars in each. Dont need to watch in series order.
Possibly not as silent as watching Schindlers List in a cinema in Munich now that was silent and people were actually sobbing at the end! It's a brilliant film and a hugely important topic but an incredibly tough watch. my missus has said thisFair comments. Not sure why I didn’t take to it.
I’ve been to Auschwitz, which was very harrowing, and read the Primo Levi book ‘If this is a man’, which is phenomenal.
This film felt as if it didn’t really add anything to me. I think we know enough about the casual and selfish indifference of the Nazis already!
Maybe I just didn’t need to see or hear anymore about the Holocaust?
It did feel, however, as if there was maybe a missing dimension between the Martin Amis book, which I haven’t read, and this film, which the director hadn’t managed to get across properly?
My apologies though to anyone thinking of going to see it. Please ignore my comments and go and make your own minds up.

To be honest, the film did not represent the book well at all. However, what Amis tried to convey was how normal life ran parallel with the horrific. Why was the garden so beautiful, the ashes give you a clue. Why did the hems need resewing, and what was hidden in the toothpaste. The book is funny in passages, this was deliberate.....I felt tremendous guilt when I laughed. The book is also meant to be a love story......not represented by the film at all. I appreciated both but wouldnt revisit either
No, and I won’t be doing nowDid anyone watch Love Rat on CH 5 with Sally Lyndsey? I only persevered with it because my sister recommended it but it was awful. The plot would have made a scooby do cartoon look complex , acting awful and completely unbelievable. So bad it became watchable.
yep, watched it all. Two things. Firstly it was very predictable who was involved and secondly, yep, Sally Lyndsey as an actress or even as a host[ Pointless], is as wooden as they come.Did anyone watch Love Rat on CH 5 with Sally Lyndsey? Started Passenger on ITV1 last night but fell asleep. Seemed like it was decent ( I was just very tired ) anyone watch it ? Opinions ?
Watched two episodes and looks good so farNetflix's "3 Body Problem" is brilliant.
Well worth checking out.
Yes, couldn’t quite work out what angle or genre it was coming from. Will re-watch at some point and see what I think when I’ve seen the whole episode. Not your normal police procedural. Keeps threatening to descend into a comedy, sci-f horror story.
Jury is out for me, but will probably watch the next episode.
