What an overly positive person who accepts watching garbage.what a depressing individual
This is exactly why initially I was not keen on going back to Critchley, whilst he had done good things here before, some are like a betrayed lover and can't get over it and during a bad run the knives are out and the I told you so brigade kick into gear.
However, given the expectation to go back up this season, whoever it was if we had a mixed start people would be questioning after each poor result.
He's bot fling anywhere after just a handful of games and wr need people behind the club of wete to succeed.
As disappointing as it's been at times, I can't see how some turning on him now is helpful.
Not to mention Rogers and Poveda! You have to give someone a bit more than 5 games, especially after relegation and losing our best-attacking players
of last season with Yates, Anderson, Bowler, and Madine.
Are you 6 years old? That’s the only explanation I can think of for saying that’s as unacceptable as you’ve ever seen.Todays performance was about as unacceptable as I’ve ever seen in my lifetime as a Blackpool fan. And the majority of it comes from the manager. He has 5 games to sort it out. 3-5-2 does not work. You don’t have the players. Play players in their ** natural positions. You’ve then at least got a chance. Lincoln didn’t have a sniff of scoring in the first half. I called for Marv to be dropped last week!
Simon and Neil. You need 3/4 players for this system. If you don’t get them. You need to change system.
Yeah it's annoying and frustrating, but it's almost like the players were full of confidence pre season, butt as soon as real games came around with pressure to win, it partly reverted to type of last season pretty quickly. It’s not helpful and fans would rather not but at the same time they put up with this formation and for example playing Connolly at left wing back. Losing is one thing but the random team selections are very hard to accept.
Great point.Merging his stats from QPR is toxic and unproductive. Proves absolutely nothing. They were an absolute basket case - we beat them 6-1. With Mick McCarthy as manager
Just for comparison…7 wins in his past 28 games (with us and QPR)
Overall win ratio of 36%
A very good post .Ok, I totally agree the results and style of play is not exactly what I was hoping for. I'm also not surprised that his position is being challenged by some supporters, and it is their right to voice their opinions. However, we have started this league one season better than the last league one campaign under Critch. In 2020-21, we had only 3 points from 5 games. In fact it took us 8 games to get to 7 points. Therefore, he needs to be given time to get his philosophy right. But, if after 10 games it is still dire, then I think the question of his future needs to be questioned.
Agree but after 10 games I’d be probably making it very clear to Critch that the system isn’t working and needs a complete rethink . I would hope that he would have the sense to know that without being toldUnless we are genuinely facing the threat of relegation, I would stick with Critchley regardless... In fact If I was Simon I'd be making it abundantly clear to the (admittedly small number of) Critchley Out types, that he's here for the season 'no matter what' and so they can get any ideas of him being fired out of their heads.
It's ** ridiculous that any manager should have to come to a club and face this sort of utter lunacy after a handful of games.
If you aren't willing to afford a manager the opportunity to try something and perhaps fail, then you're never going to get anywhere.
How can a ratio be single figures?Wonder what his win ratio is since leaving us?
Single figures?
He has, but I’m sick of indifferent starts, stop experimenting ffs and play them in their natural positions, and tell them to move to receive the ball.Agree but after 10 games I’d be probably making it very clear to Critch that the system isn’t working and needs a complete rethink . I would hope that he would have the sense to know that without being told
The pressure on him and the club at the minute though is not on.
He’s shown before that he can get us promoted after an indifferent start .
Allardyce is out of work currentlyJust for comparison…

Righty ho, so it's either demand the immediate sacking of the manager or you're obviously happy with a loss? What an overly positive person who accepts watching garbage.
To dismiss critics as moaners after one defeat understates a deeper malaise.Righty ho, so it's either demand the immediate sacking of the manager or you're obviously happy with a loss?
Utter bollocks.
I'm sorry but that's unreadable. To dismiss critics as moaners after one defeat understates a deeper malaise.
Meek capitulation to a bog standard Lincoln rang all last season's alarm bells.
Nor does a single loss appear by any means sufficient to measure decline.
Not only more than five hours without a goal, but almost no efforts to score.
Critchley had lost the plot before his exit.
Worse, he seems to have learned nothing
from his failures at QPR and Aston Villa.
It should come easier in a lower division.
The coach's apologists cite no evidence that Sadler will hire more experience.
Credit Norburn's central defensive role.
Him apart, however, new recruits lack creativity and marksmanship.
The impatient might hope for resurgence, given big spending at last from Sadler.
But the owner's frugality looks focused on the best training ground in League Two.
Doubtless you would call erudite a glue.I'm sorry but that's unreadable.
Anybody with half a brain knows this is unacceptable and quite frankly a disgrace to this great football club.Righty ho, so it's either demand the immediate sacking of the manager or you're obviously happy with a loss?
Utter bollocks.
Because he had a good Easter and we almost rose from the dead. I'd give him a second coming. Why is Dobbie the Messiah?
So you've said it twice now but, Improvement after 11 games? How many games after 11 games? Wouid winning the 12th game be enough? And why a prime number like 11? Weird! And will you just want him out in your head? Or will you burst jnto action and remove him?I said it last week and I'll say it again. I'll give him 11 games. If there is no improvement after that I want him out.
It all makes sense now. You've only got half a brain! Shoulda said.Anybody with half a brain knows this is unacceptable and quite frankly a disgrace to this great football club.
Anybody who accepts what is happening is living in cloud cuckoo land or simply happy to be the next Tranmere.
It's the number of games he was in charge of QPR, that's all.So you've said it twice now but, Improvement after 11 games? How many games after 11 games? Wouid winning the 12th game be enough? Appleton wasn't afforded the same courtesy was he. Different agenda for Critchley ?Unless we are genuinely facing the threat of relegation, I would stick with Critchley regardless... I said exactly the same thing about Appleton and he managed is for 29 Games (not 5) and we were under threat of relegation at the end.Appleton wasn't afforded the same courtesy was he. Different agenda for Critchley ?
Sorry can I just ask why you thought we were quickly becoming a basket case club under Crichley in his 1st spell? We were quickly becoming a basket case towards rhe end of his 1st period
We've just been relegated ..... we were a basket case last year ourselves
I'm just not sold on the style of football
That said, if Dobbie got the job and was having played 10 games only had a couple of wins people would be moaning about him
Win percentage this season under Critchley is 33%How can a ratio be single figures?
At the beginning of January ? Hardly giving him time as there was another 4 months of the season to run. Maybe it's because Critchley has no connection with PNE ? Critchball is boring and always was.I said exactly the same thing about Appleton and he managed is for 29 Games (not 5) and we were under threat of relegation at the end.
As I said, I said exactly the same thing about Appleton (I.e. that the Owner should confirm he’s here until the end of the season regardless). At the beginning of January ? Sacking McCarthy after 5 games and replacing with Dobbie would have been genius. As I said, I said exactly the same thing about Appleton (I.e. that the Owner should confirm he’s here until the end of the season regardless).
Personally I’ve always enjoyed the football under Critchley. I’ve no problem with being solid and successful at all.
Anyone who thinks we should sack a manager after 5 league games is a ** idiot. It really is that simple
My point was that a ratio cannot be a single figure. It is one figure compared with another.Win percentage this season under Critchley is 33%
We have won 2 of 6 competitive games
It isn't really a bad record (P6 W2 D3 L1).
You have to give Critchley at least half of a season (20+ league games), if he fails then he will be potted
Some of our supporters are ridiculous.
Rhodes will score, I am certain of that after Saturday, let's see what happens
Would it …. ?Sacking McCarthy after 5 games and replacing with Dobbie would have been genius.
The coach aims high with Kirk back?Is this AI generated?

In Critchleys last 18 games of the 21/22 season we won just 4 !!!!!!Sorry can I just ask why you thought we were quickly becoming a basket case club under Crichley in his 1st spell?
My point was that a ratio cannot be a single figure. It is one figure compared with
That win percentage is actually almost identical as his complete managerial recordWin percentage this season under Critchley is 33%

We didn’t win 4 at all, we won 6 and the players weren’t playing for anything at the back end.In Critchleys last 18 games of the 21/22 season we won just 4 !!!!!!
Some games we didn't even have a shot on target
We may have differing opinions but I lost faith in him then. He seemed to have lost the team too I thought and starred to become devoid of ideas. He knew that, and when Gerrard came calling he saw his out.
You may disagree
You've said that before, Robotco It wasn't funny the first time. The coach aims high with Kirk back?
You should make your name Downwards.
Yep, my mistake, it was 6We didn’t win 4 at all, we won 6 and the players weren’t playing for anything at the back end.

You’ve basically come out with false information to try and justify your opinion. Even at his supposed ‘shittest’ his win rate (in the Championship) was still 33.3% and would have seen a mid-table finish.Yep, my mistake, it was 6
If the team had nothing to pay for perhaps they'd reimburse me the money I spent on watching them, including the hotels for the Peterborough game.
Critchley was in my opinion running out if ideas when the going got tough.
My opinion, you don't have to agree with it.
No… You come across as a reactive childYou come across as though you enjoy and accept being shit.
