Obviously upto Simon as he pays the bills at the end of the day but I was personally bored senseless by his style of play before he left…… hope it’s a bit more exciting this time round
Again, as said a thousand times before, that’s a problem with the fans, not anyone else.Yes. Very underwhelmed. And if we don't start well you just know the fans will be on his back big time.
I wish him well but I hope Sadler has a contingency plan this time. Feels flat.
You seem to rim whoever the manager is or whatever decision is made. Proper nodding dog.Again, as said a thousand times before, that’s a problem with the fans, not anyone else.
Grown men crying after a few defeats is pathetic
Me too & Dobbs must be disappointed.Yes. Very underwhelmed. And if we don't start well you just know the fans will be on his back big time.

The best thing the club could do would be to stop engaging with fans, get their heads down and get on with the job at hand. Let the results do the talking.Again, as said a thousand times before, that’s a problem with the fans, not anyone else.

It’s not what QPR fans might be sayingTough one to consider.... On the one hand its another appointment of a former manager, but on the other and just looking strictly at his CV, I would say wow he should be holding out for a job at the lower end of the championship. So its hard to say, its not like Appleton who was a league one manager at best.
You make a good point I figured I should check to see what they say... not much mixed bag...It’s not what QPR fans might be saying
Agree it was the style of play rather than how he left that was the issue for me( as, well as, signing far more players, than we could name in a, squad which screwed us up last summer)Obviously upto Simon as he pays the bills at the end of the day but I was personally bored senseless by his style of play before he left…… hope it’s a bit more exciting this time round
yes we all need to stop bickering and slagging each other and start backing the coach players and club , and hopefully Simon has learnt from last seasons mistakes and he start rectifying the problemsWe've had too many saying who should be appointed, putting all their eggs in that basket, then throwing a strop when they don't get their way.
It's juvenile at best.
Either support the manager, the team and the club or stop.
The last thing we need is a grumbling, entitled fanbase.
When it comes down to it, who has a better CV from the many names that have appeared over the last few weeks?
Lazy but not risk free .Lazy, risk free appointment on paper
I'm buzzing! Loved critch whilst he was here.Obviously upto Simon as he pays the bills at the end of the day but I was personally bored senseless by his style of play before he left…… hope it’s a bit more exciting this time round
100% this.I’m absolutely over the moon with the appointment to be honest. I very much doubt there was a more suitable / better candidate.
A great manager who is capable of the kind of pragmatism, creativity and tactical intelligence that will see us maximise the bang for our buck.
There’s now the added bonus that he’s much more likely to be around for the longer term, having sampled life outside the tangerine bubble.
Every single supporter needs to get behind this appointment and cut out the negative shit that ruined last season…
This is a first class appointment…. And we will be successful…
EPL here we come !!
You'd hope SS and NC will be talking to Dobbie about his development, his value, helping him in his career. Be very poor not to. NC was valued at Liverpool and knows the value of developing all the coaching staff and them getting involved with the first team at times. We will want to bring dev squad players into the first team and the coaches to work together. Dobs could and should get a pay rise too perhaps. Handle him right, keep him on board and prepare him for the future.Personally I was hoping for a clean slate appointment if not Dobbs who must feel somewhat deflated I would have thought
Critchley is going to have a task on his hands winning some over - an issue any new appointment wouldn't have had to deal with
Up to SS to support him to make sure we get off to a good start
You are correct , you have also just named the three worst managers in the championship last season and now we have paid them allSo, Appleton , we didn't want him, Macarthy, we didn't want him and now Critchley, we didn't want him. There is a trend developing here.
Dont you be podcasting mate!!Personally I was hoping for a clean slate appointment if not Dobbs who must feel somewhat deflated I would have thought

Too obvious mate….should have been a slightly subtler bait to hook some Big AVFTT FishI’m absolutely over the moon with the appointment to be honest. I very much doubt there was a more suitable / better candidate.

Dobbie had some Prem loan players like Rogers, Poveda and Patino. NC needs to show he can bring that type of player in and integrate them into his system. I hope he doesn't just do the same thing again, we really struggled to supply the likes of Yates.Agree it was the style of play rather than how he left that was the issue for me( as, well as, signing far more players, than we could name in a, squad which screwed us up last summer)
Dobbie was often without a recognised striker, but we still had significant goal attempts.
Some players will be happy
Matty Virtue, Carey, Hubbie to name but 3, maybe our performances toward the end of his first stint have influenced my thinking, but if he wants to win fans, round we will have to be far more attacking than he was
I like being juvenile, it keeps me young in mindWe've had too many saying who should be appointed, putting all their eggs in that basket, then throwing a strop when they don't get their way.

Player selection will be based on ability to pass sideways, and back to frustrate the opposition and the fans.Dobbie had some Prem loan players like Rogers, Poveda and Patino. Absolutely. Will be gutted to see Dobbie walk on the back of thisYou'd hope SS and NC will be talking to Dobbie about his development, his value, helping him in his career. Be very poor not to. Think TC is, studying Calypso musicnowLook on the bright side. If Critchley can’t get us going by November then we can always ask Mick McCarthy to come back and see if TC has any more tunes left
Those are my genuine thought pal…Dont you be podcasting mate!!

Maybe but lets wait and see what he does and what players we sign.Player selection will be based on ability to pass sideways, and back to frustrate the opposition and the fans.
He needs, to integrate Dobs and Dev feam into squad so they can play as fringe players this, season and have a real route to first team selection.
