Great shout but I'm sure plenty of other teams could offer him a higher wage than we would... as already stated Wrexham being a good example

Why the hell would he drop to league one?
Unless Wrexham pay him big bucks he will end up at a top end Championship team
 
The reason our season ended so badly was down to Rhodes being injured, why invest money in another striker that is well past their best.
We should be investing in young fit strikers that have the potential to improve and remain fit, that have the potential to play in the championship.

This entire thread is in La La land but are you seriously saying you wouldn’t want him at Blackpool if he was available? I’d blow 70% of our budget to get him here, proven goal scorer at every level and still barely lost 10% of his Premier League pace!

Even if used in cup games and off the bench he’s still lethal

I wouldn't spend 70% of our budget on any one player, we need 3 decent players who can score goals at this level. I would rather spend the money on Dembele or similar and two fast young forwards that can score. A couple of decent midfielders and a decent center-half and left full-back.
Vardy is on £ 80,000 per week which is over £ 4,000,000 for a year. We can transform the team for that money in League One. Also being reliant on one player there is always the risk of them being injured which was the problem with Rhodes. We could even buy two of the new Apple iPads
for the Boswell brothers.
 
It’s all irrelevant anyway as Vardy and Dembele are never going to sign for us. We just need good recruitment to find the next gem. However if Vardy did want to sign then I would push the boat out massively for him. He’d sell shirts and season tickets and give the whole place a buzz as well as guaranteeing goals which could get us up!
 
You could sign lots of good players. But we have to play the right formation to get the best out of them
